Porsche will launch new 911 series in India on June 29

first_imgPorsche is getting ready to bring the new line-up of 911 cars to India. The 911 range has just received a mid-life facelift and the new range of cars will be launched in India on June 29. Porsche has not confirmed as of yet what all cars will be heading to Indian shores but the 911 Carrera S, 911 Carrera Cabriolet, 911 Turbo and 911 Turbo S Cabriolet are expected to make the cut. Porsche has gone the turbo charging way with all the new 911 models featuring turbochargers. The motor of the 911 Carrera has also been downsized to a 3-litre flat-six but due to turbo charging, Porsche has managed to extract 20 more horsepower and the motor on the Carrera and Carrera S makes 370 hp and 420 hp, respectively.Also Read: Porsche brings the petrol-powered Macan to IndiaPorsche has updated the Sport Chrono Package with four driving modes, PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management), active rear-axle steering, and a Sport Response Button for maximum acceleration for 20 seconds. Automatic speed control, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Change Assist and a multi-collision braking system are some of the new assistance systems.
