We’re going to need to stop the run and make them try and beat us in the air.”Muir receiver Elijah Blades is committed to the University of Florida, and is also someone the Lancers defense will have to key heavily on to walk out of Friday with a win.Amon Milliner will continue to bear the weight of the La Salle offense. The senior running back is coming off a monster game in which he ran for 262 yards and three TD’s.Milliner has rushed for over 100 yards per game in all three contests thus far. He is averaging 181 yards and has scored 7 TD’s.Jake Caan is going to have to manage the offense with very little room for error.Caan is 29 of 48 for 434 yards, five touchdowns and one interception so far.“I am going to need Jake to run our offense efficiently and get the ball to No. 5 (Milliner),” Gordon said. “We know it’s really important to not fall behind like last week. They’re 2-0 for a reason.” Get our daily Pasadena newspaper in your email box.
